MSHS MURAL SUBMISSIONS
SURFACE provides over 1500 sqm of canvas opportunity in 2025, including walls at Miami State High School.
This form is for students only, to submit ideas or artwork they would like to see on the walls of their schools.
If selected, you will be supported by a local experienced mural artist to help you take your work from small scale to mural scale.
You will need to be available within your Winter school holidays to deliver this mural project. Painting will happen over several days between 29 June - 13 July 2025. Final dates will be determined between you, the support artist and your teachers.

FENCE LINE EXHIBIT
The annual Fence Line Exhibition is a drawcard event of SURFACE Festival program. Spanning 5km, this art trail is made up of local, interstate and international works.
Selected works are printed on corflute. They are then erected along the front fences of local residents.
For Miami State student works, they will be installed along the perimeter fence of the school on Santa Monica Rd.
The printed works remain the property of SURFACE Festival and will never to be exhibited without the written approval of the artists beyond SURFACE 2025 dates (29 June – 13 July). We will accept one submission per person.
