Surface Festival returns to the streets of Miami this July!
From 2 to 16 July Miami comes alive as artists and creatives alike flock to the sunny Gold Coast to take part in SURFACE 2023.
Now in its third year, the festival is considered a “must-do experience” in the Winter school holiday calendar on the coast. With a majority free, all-ages program (plus some epic ticketed events), audiences are invited to wander through the streets and discover art as artists showcase their work across a variety of surfaces.

SURFACE, The Miami Street Art Festival is returning this July, with kilometres of Miami receiving a new artistic treatment. From Sunday 2 July to Sunday 16 July, art will literally be exploding onto the footpaths, fence lines, laneways and walls and you are invited to walk, ride, roll and stroll through the streets and witness the magic unfold.

Life is always a little brighter on the Gold Coast, given the beachside city is home to all that sun, surf and sand, but it'll be positively bursting with colour and art as well when July rolls around again. That's when Surface Miami Street Art Festival will take place for 2023, making its home in the suburb of Miami and connecting its two creative precincts — from Hillcrest Parade through to Lemana Lane — with plenty of paint.
