100 artworks for under $100 (ish)
SURFACE 2023 invite artists of a variety of mediums to again take part in the edgy exhibition taking over Miami Marketta’s Studio 56 warehouse space, for 2 weekends this July!
This event is part affordable art fair, part party and all parts love affair with the arts. Audiences will be invited to snake around the maze of art walls, engage with you as an artist and purchase your work. We encourage a range of work on a variety of surfaces... be it print, textile, digital, sculpture, wearable art or paintings.

Each artist will be allocated a standing wire fencing panel of 1.8m x 2.4m
The exhibition fee is $100 per panel to be paid on confirmation of successful applicants
SURFACE will NOT take any commission on sales.
Artists may exhibit multiple pieces or displays within this space.
Artists must be able to install the work securely and safely (installation is the responsibility of the artist, not SURFACE)
SURFACE will supply an exhibition panel, security, marketing and exhibit cards for each artist.
Artist to provide point of sale operations.
SURFACE will arrange entertainment to accompany the night
SURFACE will undertake a marketing campaign to promote the event, artists encouraged to promote to their own online audiences.
Artists or representatives must be available to commit to the key dates above.
It is encouraged to keep most of the pieces you exhibit under $100. Artists who were most successful last year followed this.
